ABOUT COACH NICK

My name is Nick Kotwica (My last name means anchor in Polish). I’ve been involved in the fitness industry, in some form or another, for the last 30 years.

Personal training coach Nick Kotwica

The first 15 years were in the form of martial arts, with an Eastern perspective on health and wellness. In 2006 I diverged from that path, and became a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. During those first 15 years I studied a bit of Eastern philosophy, which shuns pursuit of material wealth, fame and notoriety. Trying to find that balance between being a successful coach and not putting myself out there has been challenging.

I’ve mostly worked in big box gyms, trying to fly under the radar as much as possible. For the most part, I’ve done well for myself. With a turn of events, both globally and personally, I’ve realized that it’s time for me to do my own thing, step away from the corporate big box and find my own path.
